This is me holding an important gun made by Ct's most famous early maker, Medad Hills (1729-1808). This is his grave from 1808 and behind me is a monument to the Hills family. He lived, worked and died in Goshen, CT

A What's New folder

I have posted some pictures of the Medad Hills fusil. Hope to make copies of it..Pictured here are his grave site in Goshen, CT, the owners house in Ellington, CT, and the owners grave site there too. Other recent projects include the Philadelphia rifle, the Pea Pickers, the Peter White pistols (2016). The Fleeger II, Masonic rifle (2017). Just posted the New England half stock rifle pics, but it dates from 2014. Posted 8/17 is the New England fullstock rifle.
In Sept. '17 I made a fowler for the New Hampshire Motor Speedway to give as a parting gift to Dale Earnhardt Jr.(pictures now posted).
2018 has been so full that I'm just now posting about it. Watch the up-coming series on Discovery channel "Master of Arms" to see why. A notable gun was a take-down fowler with a matching rifle barrel, pictures of my own version of this will be up soon.
The new YouTube video on the front page is about the musket trophy for the NH Motor Speedway race inspired by last years gift to Dale Earnhardt Jr.
