Black Hart Long Arms
John Bennett pistol set
This fancy pair of pistols was made from Rifle Shoppe kits in german silver. The original pistols are illustrated in "Early Firearms of Great Britian and Ireland" by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Made by John Bennett, a sword cutler, silversmith and gunmaker in London in 1781, the hardware was cast by the famous Moses Brent. The locks are equiped with a sliding half-cock safety that simultaneously locks the tumbler and frizzen.
